Well, I found both roses and azaleas this trip. I went about noon, so the sun was really strong. And, with all the storms that we’ve been having, the flowers were a bit damaged. Still, I think they’re pretty!

I feel reasonably confident that this is a Misumena vatia. They are regular visitors every year to our rose bushes. However, this one is photographed on a peony. This is the first bright yellow one that I have seen in the garden; usually they are white.
