I think this magnificent rose was originally part of a garden hedge before it was replaced by a fence. Somehow the bush finished up on the wrong side of the fence, where it thrives. Luckily the council grass cutters leave it alone!

Well, I found both roses and azaleas this trip. I went about noon, so the sun was really strong. And, with all the storms that we’ve been having, the flowers were a bit damaged. Still, I think they’re pretty!
